Pak PM hands over Kashmir rights abuses dossier to UN Chief : Report | KNO

Radio Pakistan reported that the Committee, which met under the chair of PM Abbasi in Islamabad, also stressed the need for appointing a Special Envoy on Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has handed over a dossier documenting the systematic human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir to the United Nations General Secretary Antonio Guterres, country's National Security Committee (NSC) has been informed.

Radio Pakistan reported that the Committee, which met under the chair of PM Abbasi in Islamabad, also stressed the need for appointing a Special Envoy on Jammu and Kashmir.


"The Committee expressed deep concern over repeated violations of line of control by India, resulting in loss of innocent lives owing to shelling and firing across the line of control," the radio report said.
